CIGIA Fourth Session of 8th Council was Held in Luoyang, Henan on May 23~25, which was hosted by Mr. PU Chungan (the secretary general of CIGIA).
Mr. DU Jun (the President of CIGIA) first conveyed the spirits of related documents of Ministry of Civil Affairs and National Development and Reform Commission.

Then Mr. PU Chungan reported the summary of work for the first half year of 2016 and the work plan for the latter half of 2016, as well as the new council members (Luoyang Jianlong Micro-Nano New Materials Co., Ltd., Henan Xinlianxin Shenleng Energy Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Fortune Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Gase Industry Association), as well as new members (17 members including Jiangsu Zhonghong Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) of CIGIA and various branches to the Council; and he also asked the Council to review and vote China gas industry famous brand products (“Production of Industry Gas Based on Industry Gas Emissions” of Henan Xinlianxin Shenleng Energy Co., Ltd.; “Rare Gases” of Shougang Oxygen Plant; “LNG Cryogenic Liquid Transportation Vehicle” of CIMC Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Equipment Co., Ltd.; “Industrial LNG Equipment” of Hangzhou Fortune Group Co., Ltd.; “Special Molecular Sieve for Cryogenic Air Separation Oxygen Production - JLOX300 Series” of Luoyang Jianlong Micro-Nano New Materials Co., Ltd.), CIGIA’s “13th Five-Year Plan” development guides (draft); and the above proposals were adopted by consensus by the council representatives. China gas industry famous brand products will be publicly displayed in CIGIA’s official website and then awarded with medals and certificates in 2016 Annual Conference.
Prof. LIU Wenhai from University of Science and Technology Beijing presented his speech-Technical Development and Applications of Plateau Oxygen Production in the afternoon, who primarily introduced the plateau oxygen production technical history, technologies, and enriched oxygen supply methods, fire prevention safety and physiological effects and so on. He said: there are a lot of applications for plateau centralized oxygen supply in office buildings and other large enriched oxygen space; however, there is relatively only a little theoretical study; and the following issues shall be solved: how to effectively combine and match with the central air conditioning system, how to improve the effective oxygen utilization rate, and achieve the configuration rationality of oxygen terminals and concentration detection devices; and the plateau split type oxygen supply is used mostly in hotels and other medium and small-sized enriched oxygen space applications; similarly, there is relatively only a little theoretical study and the following issues is also to be solved: how to effectively combine and match the split type air conditioning system, and how to improve the effective oxygen utilization rate.
The pressure-swing adsorption separation technology has been under study in China since 1960, the pressure-swing adsorption separation plants are enlarged and challenged continuously along with development and popularization of this technology and for being suitable for various gas demands in the modern industries. Mr. HE Jinjie (the manager of Shanghai Rich Gas Equipment Co., Ltd.) presented his speech-Technical Development of Large-Sized Pressure-Swing Adsorption Plants, who introduced situations and production technologies of the domestic large-sized pressure-swing adsorption nitrogen production plants by taking the pressure-swing adsorption nitrogen production plant as an example.
Mr. WANG Zhongjian (the Deputy General Manager of Kaifeng Air Separation Group) presented his speech-Purification Processes, Equipment and Molecular Sieve Application and Development in Large ASU. He introduced the development stages of air separation purification processes and equipment, structure types and design of molecular sieve adsorbers for the purification (cleansing) system, PSA+MS broad applications and development (prospects) fields, and continuous extension of new type and special MS and so on .
Dr. BAI Pu from the development center of Luoyang Jianlong Micro-Nano New Materials Co., Ltd. presented his speech-Current Situations and Development Trends of Molecular Sieves. He introduced history, academic organizations and activities, structure, composition, characterization, states of aggregation, application progress and development trends of molecular sieves, and performances and applications of JLOX series high efficiency oxygen production molecular sieve and so on.
All attendants visited the scene of Luoyang Jianlong Micro-Nano New Materials Co., Ltd. after the conference.
