2015 Membership Reprehensive Conference & Technology Exchange Meeting of CIGIA Welding Gas Professional Committee was held in Shanxi Taiyuan from October 29 to November 3, 2015, and about 150 representatives attended such conference. Mr. DU Jun (the president of CIGIA) and Mr. PU Chungan (the secretary general of CIGIA) guided such conference; and Mr. NING Jiankun (the secretary general of Yunnan Industrial Gas Industry Association), Mr. ZHANG Jiaxu (the secretary general of Hebei Industrial Gases Association) and Mr. LI Jianhua (the deputy secretary general of Jiangsu Gas Industry Association) attended and congratulated such conference.
Mr. ZHANG Mingjun (the chairman of committee of CIGIA Welding Gas Professional Committee) presided over the conference. Mr. DU Jun presented the congratulations and conveyed the spirits of 2015 Suzhou CIGIA annual conference. Mr. LIAN Hongchang (the General Manager and hosting representative of the gases branch of Taizhong Industrial Investment Development Co., Ltd.) made the welcoming speech and introduced current gas industry development situations of Shanxi and related Shanxi conditions and customs. Mr. ZHANG Mingjun presented the 2015 committee work summary and primary work summary report of the Committee, which was approved unanimously. Mr. ZHU Xianfu (the secretary general of CIGIA Welding Gas Professional Committee) presented the report of the committee financial status (from Janunary to September, 2015), which was approved in the conference. Mr. PU Chungan announced the 2nd Committee Chairman personnel under approval of CIGIA Council. Mr. ZHU Xianfu declared the 2nd Committee Chairman personnel and divisions under approval of the 1st Session of the 2nd Chairman Committees and announced the CIGIA welding professional committee membership fee adjustment scheme under approval of the CIGIA Council, and the lists of editorial boards and senior advisors of Welding Gas Technology and China Welding Gas Industry Brief of the professional committee. Mr. ZHU Xianfu declared the 2106 primary work of the professional committee, which was approved unanimously in the conference.
After completion of the schedule of the Membership Reprehensive Conference, the following technological exchanges were carried out:
1. Mr. ZHANG Mingjun introduced situations of a few accidents late in China gas industry and presented the exchange analysis;
2. Mr. GAO Yusuo presented the analysis and perspectives of “Current Situations and Future Development Trends of the Gas Industry”;
3. Mr. ZHANG Shuyin (the expert group leader) presented the thematic report of “the Main and Social Responsibilities and Significance of Safety Production of Companies”;
4. Mr. NI Jinliang presented the analysis exchange of “Acetylene Cylinders and the Filling Gas Capacity shall be Under Effective Supervision”;
5. Mr. YAN Peng presented his comments on how to find the transformation updating driving force for companies under the current flagging global economy environment and so on;
6. Mr. WANG Jingxiong presented his understanding on some issues for implementation of the new cylinder rules.
In addition, the technological exchange papers were evaluated in the conference and 7 papers were awarded as excellent paper prizes:
1. The main and social responsibilities and significance of safety production of companies presented by Mr. ZHANG Shuyin;
2. Brief analysis of functions of back-pressure valves and existing issues presented by Mr. SUN Danming;
3. Reflection of 100 correspondents supervising safety presented by Mr. WANG Guojie;
4. Acetylene cylinders and the filling gas capacity shall be under effective supervision presented by Mr. NI Jinliang;
5. Brief discussion on innovation thought and the transformation updating driving force presented by Mr. YAN Peng;
6. Brief discussion on safety management significance for safety production of companies presented by Mr. TIAN Haifeng; and
7. Thought of the field evaluation of gas cylinder filling certificates presented by Mr. WANG Qiwen.
For creating a field exchange opportunity together with the primary committee experts for the attending representatives, an “Experts Opening Forum” activity was specially arranged so that the attending representatives can present the questions to committee experts and committee experts fed the answers on site; and such exchange mode was under unanimous acclaim from the attending representatives.
After completion of schedules of 2015 Membership Reprehensive Conference & Technology Exchange Meeting of CIGIA Welding Gas Professional Committee, supervision and visiting activities were also arranged.
