China First Localization of Steam Turbines for 100000Nm3/h

Currently, Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd. attended the test of the localized entire air compressor plant for the first set of 100,000Nm³/h air separation plant in the 4,000,000 tons/year coal-oil project of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group. Such case indicates Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd. broke the foreign monopoly and realized the first localization of steam turbines for 100,000Nm³/h class air separation plants.

It is reported such steam turbine plant for the 100,000Nm³/h air separation plant passed more than 10 plant trial tests such as the single machine tests, no-load and loaded linkage plant trial tests since delivery of components in bulk to the test base in September 2014, whose various operating indexes conform to requirements of API612 standard.

Air separation equipment is the indispensable key equipment for the significant industry plants such as the raw material “oil-coal” in large fertilizer plants. Along with enlarging the industry plants, the scale of the supporting air separation plants is also enlarged. As for this 100,000Nm³/h class air separation project, the supporting steam turbine was developed, manufactured and erected for the first time by Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd. with support of 4,000,000 tons/year coal indirect liquefaction project of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group; and this steam turbine is also the first set of steam turbine plant for 100,000Nm³/h class air separation plants in China. On the other hand, those supporting steam turbines for 100,000Nm³/h class air separation plants were previously produced by only a few international corporations such as German Siemens AG and MAN Turbo.
